At LFS, we take our responsibility to protect the public and the reputations of our charity partners very seriously.
In 2016, LFS became the first External Lottery Manager to achieve ISO 27001 certification, the only auditable international standard that defines the requirements of an ISMS (information security management system). An ISMS is a set of policies, procedures, processes and systems that demonstrate that we have defined and put in place best-practice information security processes to manage information security risks, such as cyber-attacks, hacks, data leaks or theft. Our Certification is independently audited annually.
Unlike other agencies, we will never subcontract any of our face-to-face fundraising commitments. Our extensive and robust fundraiser induction program includes training from both our charity partners and LFS. This ensures that our teams strictly adhere to the Fundraising Regulator’s Code of Fundraising Practice and their legal and ethical obligations when performing their duties. It also ensures that our charity’s key messages are communicated correctly.
Our qualified and experienced management team provides our fundraisers with day-to-day support and ongoing training throughout the year. We are confident that the donors we recruit will become long-term supporters of our charity partners.
